Next Thursday, on 1st of June Zuzeum and Riga Pride invites everyone to join us at 🏳️🌈 PRIDE 2023 PICNIC AT ZUZEUM 🏳️🌈, which will take place at Zuzeum Building Site, in Zuzeum courtyard on Lāčplēša Street 101.
The theme of the picnic is inspired by this year’s Riga Pride — flowers 🌸🌷🌻🌹🌼
At the picnic you will be able to meet your fellow community members as well as their friends, revise the iconic POP song lyrics, enjoy the togetherness, celebrate the start of the summer and express yourself creatively!
🍹🥪Zuzeum Cafe and Bar will take care of refreshing drinks and tasty snacks. However, this time we will allow you to bring your own picnic snacks!
🪴During the afternoon, a flower planting workshop and crocheting corner 🧶 will take place!
You will be able to purchase a set of a clay pot and a plant or flower seedling. We will provide you with the materials needed to decorate your flower pot in all the colors of the rainbow and make them unique. You are also allowed to bring your existing flower pots and decorate them. Furthermore, there is going to be a crocheting corner where you will be able to try out your crocheting skills and maybe even make a yarn pad for your pot! Let’s blossom together!

However, we would like those who are planning to rely on our flower pots and seedlings, to register on zuzeum.com , so we know how many flower pots and seedlings we need to prepare!
The event starts at 16.00 and will finish at 21.00. Join us whenever you can — we will be happy to see everyone!
The picnic will be arranged on the lawn, therefore we encourage you to bring your own blankets and a jacket, in case the weather in the evening gets chilly.
In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Zuzeum Living room, where from 29th of May till 11th of June a special POP-UP exhibition “Embrace” with artworks from the Zuzāns Collection will be held.
The symbols of Riga Pride 2023 are flowers, and all flowers have their own special meaning, they represent a set of sexual orientations and gender identities.
