Decorating a Plate with Decals

During the workshop, participants will decorate a plate using one of the porcelain decoration techniques – decal. Inspired by Zuzeum’s current exhibitions “The Whole World a Bauhaus” and “Spaceship Earth”, participants will work with color, form, and composition to create a unique, personal object that combines modernist aesthetics with a contemporary perspective.

The fired plate can be collected after the class at a mutually agreed time.

A decal is a decorative material – a special adhesive paper printed with ceramic paint. When applied to a dish and fired, the paint fuses with the glaze, becoming durable and resistant to mechanical damage.
