In her solo exhibition “Danger Avoidance Practices” at Zuzeum Greenhouse, Lino Kamelin presents her latest body of work.
From September onward, Lino Kamelin has been in residence at Zuzeum, continuing her artistic research and practise within the premises of Zuzeum’s Greenhouse. This residency – SPOT Exchange – is an initiative part of the POST Master’s programme at the Art Academy of Latvia to strengthen collaboration between Austria and Latvia’s academic and non-academic art institutions. The residency programme is dedicated to supporting the professional development of emerging artists and curators from both countries.
This residency has been a partnership between Zuzeum Art Museum (Latvia) and DAS WEISSE HAUS (Austria), alongside the Art Academy of Latvia and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
About the artist
Lino Kamelin is an artist from Vienna (1991). She holds a BA in Political Science and is currently studying Graphic Art at the Academy of Fine arts in Vienna. She works in the fields of drawing, painting, and printmaking, where she explores the visual language of explanatory narratives in everyday life as well as in social sciences.
