🥖 Bakery ‘ČAU’ in cooperation with wine bar ‘Vieta’ and cocktail master Juris Ķēniņš announces a new pop-up style dinner project, which will combine the enjoyment of seasonal flavours in various non-standard places in Riga under the open sky, specially selected natural wines from Europe and world-class cocktails from raw materials grown in Latvia.
The first series of dinners will take place on June 14 and 15 at 20.00 in the Zuzeum backyard or also called ‘Zuzeum : Building Site’.
Team Zuzeum will take care of a special atmosphere and a beautiful shared dinner table. Local and seasonal dishes will be provided in several rounds on both evenings by the ‘ČAU’ team, which has closed the doors of its bakery for the summer to travel around Latvia and join the events with a food-truck. Also, ‘Chaika’, ‘Putnkope’, ‘Džemma Skulme’ and other art representatives of the Zuzāns Collection will be there this evening to enrich the dinner experience.
🍷 On June 14, we will taste rare beauties in the theme of natural wines, which will be matched to the carousel of gastronomic tastes. This evening, the traveling wine bar ‘Vieta’, awarded three times for the best wine list in the Baltics, will collaborate with the chefs of ‘ČAU’. Wine bar’s portfolio represents the values that harmonise with the bar’s collective – sustainability, adventurous joy of life and explosive energy.
🍸 On June 15, dinner will be served with five world-class original cocktails specially developed for this project, using raw materials grown and created only in Latvia. These unique drinks will be prepared by cocktail master Juris Ķeniņš, who has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. He has worked in the ‘Left Door Bar’ in Riga, as well as the legendary bar in London ‘American Bar Savoy’, which was recognized as the best cocktail bar in 2017 and 2018.

You can apply for the dinner by writing to info@cauriga.lv. The start of dinner on both dates – at 20.00. The number of places is limited. Price for one evening per person for dinner with matching drinks – 100 EUR. When applying, please indicate possible allergies or any other notes!
