Following the success of the first Art Quiz earlier this year, Zuzeum invites visitors to return for a second edition in a springtime spirit. This lively evening will once again bring together curious minds, sharp eyes, and enthusiastic teams for a playful journey through the world of art.
In response to participants’ feedback, some of the audience’s favourite sections will return, including questions on the Zuzāns Collection and a self-portrait round. This time, the quiz will also introduce new thematic rounds featuring surprising facts about art museums around the world, artist groups and associations, and questions inspired by Zuzeum’s current exhibitions. We therefore encourage participants to visit the exhibitions in advance and pay close attention – what you notice may prove useful during the quiz.
The Art Quiz is designed as a team experience and unfolds as an engaging journey through art history and visual culture, from recognisable images to playful and thought-provoking questions about artistic styles, materials, and movements. Whether you are an art enthusiast or simply looking for an inspiring way to spend the evening, the quiz offers an opportunity to learn something new, exchange ideas, and enjoy time together in a creative setting.
How it works
The quiz takes place in person at Zuzeum and consists of 10 rounds.
Teams are made up of 4 people, with time given in each round to discuss and submit answers.
Visitors are welcome to arrive with their own team, but individual participants are equally invited to join – we will help place you in a team or create one on site.
No advanced prior knowledge is required. Curiosity, attentiveness, and a readiness to take part are all you need.
