A performance by Lera Sanzharovets

📅 May 23, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
🎟️ Free entrance

Within the Carrara Pop-up at Zuzeum, visitors will be invited to enter Lera’s studio space — a quiet, meditative environment with a tea table and personal objects, created as a place to consciously slow down the pace of everyday life. There are no spectators or familiar everyday roles here, as the focus is on each participant’s conscious presence. At the table, Lera creates and holds this atmosphere, forming a space for encounter and calm.

Each participant is invited to sit opposite her, one at a time. During the process, a bowl of tea is served, creating a small shared ritual and an opportunity to pause for a moment, when nothing needs to be done, explained, or expected. One may remain silent, simply be present, or, if the wish arises, quietly begin a conversation. In this work, what matters most is the time spent together, the silence, and the sense of presence.

Each moment forms naturally. This is an opportunity to pay attention to what often goes unnoticed in everyday life, to pause, and to feel a closer connection with oneself.

Across the Table is an invitation to presence and a calm encounter. In this space, it becomes possible to sense what usually slips away, to pause, to feel the density of the moment, and a subtle connection with oneself. Across the Table is an invitation into presence, where everyone leaves with what they need – a sense of slowing down, attention, inner depth, and a personal discovery.

The number of participants is limited by the duration of the performance.
