David Hockney is an English painter, draftsman, photographer and an important part of the “Pop Art” movement. Usually, when talking about Hockney, he is mentioned as the greatest living British artist. The film “A Bigger Picture” follows the artist as he decides to move back home to England after 25 years of living in California and drastically change his painting style. Filmed over the course of 3 years, it shows where Hockney gets inspiration and motivation for his art, and also is a great story of homecoming.
