In the spirit of waiting for Christmas at the Zuzeum Art Centre on December 16 from 18.00, the opening of the art market Zandele will take place.

In the course of the evening, guests will be the first to get acquainted with the works offered and to purchase them. On the first floor there will be an opportunity to enjoy delicious, Latvian festive snacks. 

Roberts Gobziņš will take care of the music and atmosphere throughout the evening, playing the legendary Latvian vocals – Nora Bumbiere, Viktors Lapčenoks, Mirdza Zīvere, Haralds Sīmanis, the bands “Pērkons”, “Modo” and others – recorded on vinyl records, cassettes and digital files.

Contemporary art fairs are gaining more and more popularity in the world. Following these trends and promoting the accessibility of art, Zandele is conceived as the first step in the creation of private collections. The art market will offer the works of more than 1,000 Latvian artists – paintings, graphics, posters, porcelain and other applied art objects, exhibition catalogs and art books from the Zuzāns collection.
