Person in the crowd. Evening of poetry and music with Andris Bulis and Matīss Pavītols

Every day we are submerged in a jumble of sounds, colours, impressions, and events. We often lose the feeling that we are all just human, no matter who we are or what we do. Our ‘Person in a Crowd’ event series aims to alleviate the everyday bustle with gatherings in the Zuzeum Living Room. It will be an opportunity to slow down, meet new people, and see each other up close. 

The first people to come out from the crowd and join us in our cozy Living Room will be an actor and TV host Andris Bulis and musician Matīss Pavītols. 

“I believe that music is the highest form of artistic expression, but I confess my love for poetry. The highest thing in life is love, and speaking poetry accompanied by music is a very special occasion,” writes Andris. The jointly created program will allow you to enjoy the interaction of two art forms — poetry and acoustic music.

There are two types of tickets available for the evening:

🎟 Standard ticket — 15 euros. The price includes admission to the concert as well as the exhibition Growing Out? Growing Up? Contemporary Art Collecting in the Baltics.

🎟 Meet-and-greet ticket — 30 euros. The price includes a special half-hour meeting with Andris Bulis, a glass of sparkling wine and a snack, and admission to the concert, as well as the exhibition, Growing Out? Growing Up? Contemporary Art Collecting in the Baltics. 

The number of seats at the event is limited, so we encourage you not to delay in purchasing tickets. Zuzeum Cafe and Zuzeum Shop will be open throughout the evening, with Andra Buļa books of poetry available for sale. Tickets are available online at  www.zuzeum.com. Purchased tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
