As part of the exhibition Grotto Far from the Sea, the text-group Orbīta invites you to enjoy a special screening of the film Motopoiesis and a meeting with the authors. The film is created as a collection of 12 poems in different media – as a recording of a conceptual performance. In the Orbita’s performance Motopoiesis voices of the four poets – Semyon Khanin, Arturs Punte, Sergej Timofejev, Vladimir Svetlov – trigger electronic and mechanical noise-making mechanisms and are further processed through various audio effects. Thus the source of the sound is the tempo of the poetry and voice intonation.

The screening will take place at Zuzeum Art Centre, Lāčplēša Street 101, in Zuzeum The Ear. Please note that the room is on the 3rd floor and does not have elevator access.
