As we bid farewell to the exhibition ‘Field of Vision,’ we extend an invitation for you to join us at a finissage event featuring the extraordinary performance, ‘Endling,’ by Jette Loona Hermanis. Immerse yourself in an unforgettable journey through surreal landscapes as we explore the poignant narrative of Endling, the last mortal of its species.

The piece revolves around the entity ‘Endling’, essentially the last mortal of its species – a single living being that stands as the final survivor, and whose death signifies the extinction of that species or subspecies. Endling expresses solitude and a thirst for another half, creating surreal situations in an apocalyptic environment that delusionally aims to satisfy its longings.

Meet Jette Loona Hermanis, a pulsing force with Baltic blood. As a performance artist, choreographer, and performer, Jette brings her unique vision to life. A graduate of SNDO (School for New Dance Development) Choreography in Amsterdam, Jette is currently based in Tallinn and Riga. Her exceptional work, including the award-winning ‘Eden Detail’, often breathes life into the body through a digital veil.
